February 2, 2024, Superview TV and Pi_is_a_lie joined forces once again to bring our visual creativity to life. It was our second time participating in a BYOB, and boy, was it good fun!

As we set up our projectors and installations, surrounded by fellow artists and video enthusiasts, there was a feeling of anticipation and excitement.
We met so many incredible people, each with their own unique vision and passion for visual art.
Throughout the night, we shared our live creations with the public – from mesmerizing live video manipulations and videoloops or our own creation to recordings of earlier shows and everything in between.
It was a true celebration of creativity and video projections.

BYOB stands for “Bring Your Own Beamer.”
It’s an event format where artists and visual art enthusiasts come together to share and experience their creations. Participants bring their own projector (Beamer) or installation to a venue, where they can showcase their (audio)visual works.
This can range from VJ sets and mappings to videos, AR and VR, and animations.
It’s a non-profit concept by Rafaël Rozendaal that anyone can organise. All ou need is a location that provides free access to both visitors and participating artists, creating a vibrant atmosphere where creativity and connection take center stage.
